Software required for SharePoint Training:

The SharePoint training course needs any one of the following two setups:

·         Central server of SharePoint 2010 with the set up of site collection for every user. In such case, the personal computer or the system of the student pursuing SharePoint training or SharePoint course needs only the Internet Explorer (IE 7) or later along with the Microsoft Office 2007/ 2010, with the http/ https access to a SharePoint server.

·         The other option which a student has is that he can have Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machine which is configured as per the specifications of Accelerate, running in Workstation or VMware Player on the system (Personal Computer or laptop) of every student. The host computer system required for the SharePoint training would require:

·         Windows 7 operating system which is of 64 bit.

·         This point includes two setups and the student can chose any one of these two. The first one is VMware Player with the version of 3.1 or may be later. The other choice is VMware workstation with the version of 7.1 or the later.

·         A physical RAM of minimum 6 GB. The VMware Player or VMware workstation requires a RAM of minimum 4 GB but the system runs very slowly in RAM of 4GB.

·         Along with all these requirements, there is one more requirement for this category. This last but not the least requirement is the free hard disk drive space of 30 GB.

Once any of this setup is installed on the system, the student can easily undergo the SharePoint training.
